From System 5 to System 6 to System 7 and now on to inFormed: A Legacy Built with Our Customers
Libera’s journey began nearly 30 years ago with a clear purpose: to simplify the complex world of public-sector case management. From the beginning, we partnered closely with government agencies to build tools that support citizens in need—while meeting strict, ever-changing federal compliance requirements.
Our first system, purpose built case management solution for vocational rehabilitation, System 5, was designed hand-in-hand with agencies seeking more intuitive ways to manage services, data and reporting. System 5 evolved over the years with continued innovation concluding with System 7. That same collaborative approach laid the foundation for inFormed, our next-generation, voice of customer driven, cloud-native SaaS platform built on modern architecture and continuous feedback from real users to solve real challenges.
Expanding Beyond VR, Without Losing Focus
Today, Libera’s suite of solutions including inFormed, DARE, BEP, SaraWorks, CRP and now CiviCore, supports a broad range of public and community organizations. We work with state agencies, counties, Native American and Tribal governments, municipalities and nonprofit entities to deliver efficient, compliant and accessible services across diverse programs and populations.
What began as a small team focused on Vocational Rehabilitation has grown into a national GovTech partner trusted by dozens of agencies and thousands of users every day.
